Aziza Oil-Free Liquid Foundation - Positive Review

Hello again readers~

Last of the liquid foundation reviews, of the foundations that I own!

This is Aziza Oil-Free Liquid Foundation in Buff Beige.

I actually got a bunch of these from the Dollar Store in Branson.

Swatch:

Rubbed in:

Pros:
You can find these cheap! (I got mine for a dollar!)
- It matches my alabaster skin tone
- The coverage is medium to high

Cons:
Not waterproof
- If not sealed, it won't hold up
- If not properly removed can cause breakouts, because it will block pores

Overall: 3/5
I really like this foundation, even though all it does for me is match my skin tone. It doesn't help improve the balance of your skin,  or any of that, though since it's oil-free it doesn't add to that either. It's cheap, and matches my skin.

Covergirl Clean Liquid Foundation

Hello again readers~

I bring to you another liquid foundation review, this one is for Covergirl Clean Liquid Foundation. Formula: Oil Control in 505 Ivory.

The back of the foundation says this:

- Designed for oily complexions to help whisk away shine
- Matte coverage that feels and looks fresh
- Dermatologicaly tested; oil and fragrance-free

It says 'fragrance-free', though it still has a scent with the ingredients, though it does dramatically decrease over time. The fragrance is not because it was added, it's just a noticeable scent!

I don't much like tapping it against my hand, so to get product out I use a q-tip!

Swatch:

Blended in:

Coverage is about medium, more so if you layer it, but I don't like putting too much on my skin.

Pros:
Matches my face decently well
- Covers easily
- Dries matte
- Easy to get (any drug store that sells Cover Girl)
- Inexpensive at around 6 dollars
- Comes in a broad line of shades

Cons:
- I'm not a huge fan of the packaging, makes it hard to get the last bit of product out
- It made me break out more than usual
- Oxidizes darker than my skin tone

Overall: 3/5
It's not the worst foundation I've ever tried, but it's not the best either. It helps keep my skin feel clean, look even, and it's close to my skin tone that when I blend it out you can't really tell, but it does get darker over time. I do like how the oil-control helps with my t-zone, since it gets super oily, super quick, and I'm always on the look for a helping-hand with that. Even though it lessens the appearance of oily skin, I still got oily, and I also got extra pimples around my forehead and nose.

OOTD and FOTD (Well, from Yesterday!)

Hello again readers~

So I have wonderful news! MY LAPTOP IS FIXED! Well, not so much fixed, as it just started working when the man we sent it to looked at it! I guess it just needed a break from my late nights on the internet! It was actually fixed earlier this week, but since I have had to write three papers in the last week, that just wasn't possible, though I hope to post more frequently since I have the hang of the new Blogger settings now. :) Now to show you my look for yesterday:

FOTD

Sorry that they look a bit off, I was crying quite a bit yesterday, and rubbed at them durring the transmission! (More of that later...)

 What I used:

- E.L.F. Mineral Primer
- Wet n Wild Baked Eyeshadow Palette – Bake-Off Contest (blue and black)
- Wet n Wild Cream Eyeliner in Black
- E.L.F. Small Angled Brush
- Maybelline Falsies Mascara

OOTD

- Camisole – Kohl's
- Star Top – Rue 21
- Black High-Waist Shorts – Levi's
- Blue Star Tights – Hot Topic
- Chucks – Payless

I was actually really happy I was able to wear these tights! I have had t hem for a long time, and never got around to wearing them! Since I only had to walk into Chemistry for about an hour and give a presentation, why not test them out?

Yesterday was quite a blast, since I won a ticket (virtual ticket!) to see the VyRT with 30 Seconds to Mars~ I was so happy that I won the contest and took over my parents office so I could watch it on their desktop, while live-blogging about it on my laptop!

I looked like this half of the time! :D There was a lot of technical difficulty in the first hour while they worked on the lag, and then it was smooth sailing. I laughed, I cried (especially during The Kill, where I bawled) and I laughed some more! Jared even almost set the whole place on fire! It was an amazing experience!

E.L.F. Tinted Moisturizer in Porcelain Review

Hello again readers~

Here is a review on E.L.F.'s Tinted Moisturizer in Porcelain

The tinted moisturizer is really cheap, only three dollars for 25 mL.

This is what the product looked like just dabbed onto the back of my hand.

And this is what it looks like rubbed into my skin. There really isn't that big of a difference.

The product gives a light to medium coverage, and smells heavily like sun screen. It doesn't really moisturize much either, and leaves skin looking slightly oily if not set with a powder over it.

Pros:
Has SPF 20 to help protect against sun
- If you have good skin, then this is better than a heavy foundation.
- Inexpensive
- Easy to get - Any drug store that sells E.L.F. products

Cons:
Not waterproof, though holds up okay when sweating
- The smell of sunscreen is REALLY strong. It's like you took a dab of sunscreen, and put a dot of foundation in it. It's no different from that. It can be overwhelming.
- If I didn't blend this is properly, it was really noticeable the difference between my face and my neck.
- Coverage is light to medium, so if you have a lot of spots you want covered (even partially) this isn't for you.

Overall: 3/5
This product does work, but the cons just don't do it for me. I don't like the smell of it, and it lingers. It doesn't go away after a couple hours, it stays all day. I also don't like the coverage. For protecting against sun it helps, but for covering up zits or spots it lacks. I would recommend this if you have a good complexion and you like to protect yourself against the sun.

Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Foundation Review

Hello again readers~

Today I bring you a review of Rimmel London's Stay Matte Liquid Foundation in 101  Porcelain.

The foundation is fairly cheap, at about 5-7 dollars a pop. I bought this particular foundation on clearance in Ulta for two dollars, because the foundation I had before this was too dark, and I thought this would suit my skin tone more since I'm so pale.

The foundation itself is produced to help keep oily skin types in check, and helps with your skin's condition, especially around the t-zone. It keeps your face nice and matte all day, though it is not water resistant.

This was my hand before any product was applied.

Just a little drop. The foundation is runny, so it instantly smooths itself out. It's good for applying, but does slip a bit during the day if rubbed.

Rubbed into the skin. Can you see how different it is? I liked to joke that it is what my skin would look like if I went outside!

I was really shocked at how large a difference that it was, since generally porcelain means pale, and it's so dark. Another thing I didn't like, the undertone was orange! It would look much better on someone who self-tans or goes outside often, as it adds a healthy glow (even to the palest of complexions!)

Pros:
Inexpensive
- Can be bought at any drug store that sells Rimmel London products (though I believe it has been discontinued)
- Applies smoothly, evenly, and easily.
- Small tube, is perfect for your makeup bag or taking it with you
- Keeps your skin matte all day. :)

Cons:
Too dark! It doesn't suit my skin tone at all, and it was the lightest shade! So if you are super pale, this is not for you.
- If it rains, you're around water, or you cry, it does run some, and it won't look even anymore.
- Since I believe it's discontinued, the only way to purchase it would be to find a seller online, or find a gem on clearance.

Overall: 4/5
I would give this a 5, if this was in my skin tone! I think it would go great for those who suit it, especially if they have an oily t-zone like I do.

Though it has been discontinued, I believe a good alternative would be the Clean Finish Foundation, though when I get around to review it I will let you know for sure if it works or not! :) Look out for that review next month!

Wet n Wild Eyeshadow Singles Swatches

Hello again readers~

I took some swatches of two of the Wet n Wild single eye shadows that I picked up on sale a bit ago, and I wanted to tell you what I thought. :)

Stagedive

Stagedive is a blue eye shadow with glitter. Contrary to the photos, it's a deeper blue though the glitter is apparent.

I didn't like this eye shadow as much as I thought I would. When it's applied dry, it's just really disappointing, and just a ghost of the pigment. Even when applied wet, you have to apply two layers of it to get a good payoff, and the fallout of the powder is a problem, since glitter sticks around you for a long while.

Envy

Envy is a military green with a gold shimmer. The bottom swatch is true to color.

As for this one, I was really pleased with it. I didn't have any green eye shadows like this is my collection, and I opted to fix it since they were on sale. Applied dry, it's decent, but applied wet... well I was blown away! It's just gorgeous, and amazingly pigmented! Out of the two, this one definitely soared.

March's Top 5

Hello again readers~

March's Top 5

Physicians Formula Healthy Wear in Translucent/Light:
The powder is great, especially for summer. The coverage is light, it feels like I'm not wearing anything, and of course, it has SPF 50! I don't have to worry about receiving sunburns on my face throughout the day.

Cover Girl Single Eyeshadow in Velvet Mist:
It's a color I picked up just because I was cheap, but I'm glad I did. It brightens up my eyes, and is a great layering color, or just on it's own for a quick application on busy mornings.

E.L.F. Mineral Primer:
Keeps my face looking healthy, smooth, and oil-free throughtout the day, and aids with the application of concealer and foundation like a dream.

Cassette Adapter:
I got this from Amanda, and I love it! I just attach it to my Zune, and put it in my cassette player, and I can listen to my Zune in the car! It's wonderful since I don't have an adapter otherwise in my car like the rest of my family does.

Plug Earrings:
I love how they look on me, but I'm not so attracted to the pain that comes with it. I get the look, and I don't have to worry about that possibility of getting a blow-out and infecting my ears. :)
