Bella Beauty Makeup Sponge

Hello again readers~

It took me forever to thoroughly use my new brushes and sponge I bought over a month ago. I didn't want to just go a week, I wanted to use them multiple times to get a feel for how they worked.

First up: Bella Beauty Makeup Sponge

I was pleased with the colours, some were brighter than others, but I wanted the mint green one.

It was pretty small when dry, though it felt soft.

It was HUGE when damp, about the size of my palm!

I was afraid that since it was so large, that it would make smooting out my foundation harder, but that wasn't the case at all.

It buffed my foundation smoothly, and removed the excess that would have otherwise caked my face. It left my makeup looking smooth and flawless, and was able to even squeeze against my nose and the inner corner of my eyes to even it all out. It's a life-savor, and I don't have to sweat about over applying makeup anymore.

Pros:
- Cheap. I got mine for a little under five dollars.
-So soft! It felt like I was buffing my face with a cloud.
-When it's damp it doesn't drip water all over the place and ruin your makeup application.
-Creates a smooth flawless finish
-Easy to clean

Cons:
- It takes forever to dry again, but is that really so bad?

Overall: 5/5
I absolutely LOVED this. I picked mine up at Marshalls, but you can find similar ones at beauty supply stores or off the internet.

EDIT: MoldyRice commented that the box has a warning that: "It is laced with chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects, and reproductive harm. "
I don't have the box to confirm it or not, but it's safer to double-check before you buy it!

Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation Review

Hello again readers~

Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation in 110 Ivory.

The foundation is for combination/oily skin, so I really got my hopes up that it would work for me. For years I used Covergirl liquid foundation (since High School), and though I wasn't very impressed, it was cheap and worked for what I wanted. This was quite a price change at $10 a bottle.

For ten dollars, you get 30 mL of product with an spf of 6, and you have a wide range of shades to pick from. I picked the lightest they offered since I'm so pale.

A real downside to this foundation, is that it doesn't have a pump. Usually this wouldn't be so bad, as the liquid foundations I had before are thick, but this foundation is slightly runny. I'm most likely going to purchase a pump for this, since it's runny and you end up dispensing more product than you need.

It's a little darker than my skin tone, but when I blend it in you don't really notice it, and after I apply my powder it matches perfectly. Though work fast, because it dries quickly.

After I apply this foundation, I don't have to worry about it at all. I can take a nap, and my skin will still look flawless.

Pros:

 -Lightweight
- Ivory actually goes well with my skin tone!
- Keeps my skin looking fresh
- I don't look oily

Cons:

- No pump
- A bit pricey
-It has a scent that lingers for a short while
-Though runny, it's also a bit thick and will cake if not careful. Application is best done with a damp sponge or brush

Overall: 5/5

I love this foundation. I can apply it quickly, it sets quickly, and lasts for hours without me having to worry about it. It covers up the redness of my face and blends into my skin tone well.

P.S. The last three photos were taken with my new camera, do you notice a difference?

January's Top 5

Hello again readers~

January's Top 5

1. Hard Candy Flat to FAB Mascara - A nice mascara that's cheap, makes my lashes look full and long, and CURLS them instantly. A definite plus and a wonderful way to make myself look awake and fresh.

2. Clean n Clear Dual Action Moisturizer - I needed some extra help to clear up acne, and deal with the dry skin problem I was having. The acne is almost cleared up, and it made my skin so smooth once again.

3.  Hard Candy Eye'm Tired - This is a life saver. A small application and it diminishes the look of under-eye bags and dark circles. A definite must.

4. Revlon Colorstay Whipped in Ivory - Loving it more than my liquid foundations. I only need a little amount and to apply it with my (clean!) fingers for a quick and flawless finish.

5. Sephora Crystal Nail File - Only had this for a short while, but I've already used it quite a few time. Quickly files down nails to shape, and doesn't tear them up in the process. I've used it over three times, and it doesn't even look like I used it yet!

Ulta Love Fern - NOTD 2

Hello again readers~

NOTD

For this mani I used Sally Hansen in Night Fright, and topped it over with three coats of Love Fern by Ulta.

Funky Fingers - Wild Child

Hello again readers~

Funky Fingers in Wild Child

Wild Child is a bright neon turquoise colour, that dries to a rubber finish. It takes three coats to be opaque.

I was expecting it to apply like Riot, but that wasn't the case. They were both bright, but Wild Child was runnier, and was sheer. It took another coat to get everything straightened out, and it would get all over the place.

I love the colour, but I hate it on my nails. It's a little darker than Turned Up Turquoise (Neon) by China Glaze, but it doesn't have a shimmer to it. I think that's what it's missing for me. It doesn't look terrible on me, but I'm no in love with wearing it either.

NYX - Tea Rose

Hello again readers~

With flash:

Without flash:

It's a warm subtle pink, that adds just the right amount of colour to my lips. I like how it lets me look a little more polished, but it's not too over the top like Chaos is. It's still cheap, and a wonderful addition to my collection.

OOTD 2

Hello again readers~

Today was a long day at school. Nothing really exciting happened, but it wasn't terrible. Decided to wear my 'short' hair, and got quite the reaction, ranging from shock to compliments.

I found a makeup routine for those days where I don't want to wear much at all. Looks a bit more natural.
