Nivea Lip Butter

Hello again readers~

Just a couple of things to show you today! I recently bought a couple of the Nivea Lip Butters, in Vanilla & Macadamia Kiss, and Caramel Cream Kiss.

Now they come in little tins, which I'm not the biggest fan of. The tins feel very weak and flimsy, and don't really hold together that well. I keep this by my bed so it's not a huge problem, but at the same time I don't think I'd take it with me in my bag.

It's a little thick, and needs a finger/brush to apply to the lips. As for the taste, it's faint, and not terrible. It doesn't taste delicious, but it's no where near awful.

They don't last too terribly long, only about an hour, maybe an hour and a half. On top of that, they leave a white cast to my lips, making them look 'frosted', which I'm not wild about.

I love, love, LOVE this one. It smells good, and really keeps my lips moisturized. I've been using it every day I've had it!

I was trying to decide between Caramel Cream Kiss, and Raspberry Rose Kiss, and I picked this one. I basically instantly regretted it, since I'm not a fan of caramels. Good thing my sister likes caramel, so I let her have it.

For me, these work really well. I apply it throughout the day, and it helps lock in moisture. So I'm very glad for that since I bite them far too often...

They're about 4 dollars each, so go and snatch one or two up. They leave your lips feeling velvety smooth. They can be found at drugstores like CVS, and Walgreens.

Thanks for reading~

  1. I've been wanting to try those, I've seen them at Target all the time but hesitant to try them. I should pick one up on my next visit. I don't like Caramel either so I would probably check other scents :D

    1. I heard Raspberry Rose Kiss is really good from reviews, so if you start with any try that one. Vanilla and Macadamia Kiss is a hit/miss depending on preferences. :)
