I've only recently stumbled across these, but it's already 'making a splash' across the internet. The Maybelline Color Tattoo collection for Summer 2013. It has 8 limited edition colors that just scream bright summer days.
Though, there were only two that I wanted:
Waves of White and Seashore Frosts
They were surprisingly hard to capture their beauty, but I tried my best. They are much better in real life.
Waves of White is a sheer white base with turquoise duo-chrome and it shifts slightly to pink. The jar photo shows it off best.
Seashore Frosts was the one I was looking forward to the most. It's a grey-blue with copper/gold shimmer. It's absolutely stunning.
These colors are absolutely gorgeous, I'm still gushing over how great they look!
I did about two coats of each to get them to look like this, and Waves of White really is sheer. It definitely needs something...
Layered over black is where they really come into handy. Waves of White can appear blue, or even green depending on the lighting (here is blue), and Seashore Frosts picks up gold and copper.
Remember, they're limited edition! They might last all summer, or only for a short while! Don't take too big of a chance, especially if these kind of shadows are your thing.
You can buy them at any drugstore, anywhere from 5-8 bucks.
