ELF Disney Villains Palette - Ursula

Hello again readers!

E.L.F. launched this years collection of the Disney Villains palettes. I picked up two; Ursula and Maleficent.

Ursula

Each pallete comes with a mascara, an eyeliner pencil, a liquid eyeliner, a palette, an eyeshadow brush, a primer and a lipgloss.

The primer in this palette comes out a little pink, which isn't a downside to application, just noticed it was different than the original primer that I have.

The mascara isn't anything to write home about. It adds color. It's nice for me if I don't really want to do anything and just want color, but if you have darker lashes this won't do anything for you.

The lipgloss is called Ursula,  and I was  really impressed! It's brighter than it shows in the swatch, however.
Midnight is the liquid liner, and I almost had a heart attack when I swatched it. A DARK NAVY BLUE! I love navy eyeliners, and I don't have nearly enough in my collection (only one :( ). It was opaque, and I didn't have any problems with it at all.

It's opaque, and feels good on the lips. It's not too sticky, and lasts for longer than I thought it would. Over an hour at least, even with drinking from a straw!

The pencil liner falls flat, and isn't something that I feel was worth it. It wasn't pigmented enough for me, and it drags against the skin.

Top row: Coral, Sea Witch, Shell
Bottom Row: Kiss The Girl, Triton, Bewitched

Coral: a nice champagne shimmer. Opaque.
Sea Witch: A soft rose-pink matte.. Sheer, and needs build-up.
Shell: A bright teal with shimmer. Opaque
Kiss the Girl: A coppery brown with shimmer. Opaque.
Triton: A lavender purple matte. Needs build-up.
Bewitched: A navy blue matte. Needs build-up.

I was a little bummed, I had high hopes, and the matte shades fell a little flat. You can still work with them, but they need to built-up for full opacity.

There are four palettes in total: Urusla, Cruella, Evil Queen, and Maleficent, and they retail for $9.99 a piece. Are they worth it? I think so, especially if you like the villain. :)

Thanks for reading!

    1. Wonderful choice in the Evil Queen. If I didn't have so many neutrals I would have picked that palette up too! :)
