Quick look at E.L.F.'s Lip Stain in Crimson Crush.
Crimson Crush comes in this bright red packaging, that looks like a marker. The felt tip makes it easy to apply, or, at least that's how it's supposed to be. After a few uses, the very tip dried out, and I had to apply the product by side-swipes.
It doesn't apply evenly, and it doesn't disappear evenly either. It looks blotchy and really shows off all of the imperfections on your lips.
(Shown with multiple swipes of Crimson Crush)
It's not as pigmented as I had hoped, and it's not red either. More of a warm coral-pink shade, like washing off a red marker.
Really the best comparison is to a red Crayola marker. They taste similar, and a Crayola marker would do a better job (don't put marker on your lips).
They're 2 dollars, but I would suggest passing this one up. It wasn't worth it to me at all.
Thanks for reading~
